Job Summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high-performance analog, digital, and mixed-signal semiconductor solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, High-Speed Serial Links to join our team in San Jose, California.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-speed serial link solutions for automotive applications.
  • Develop and implement serializer/deserializer (SERDES) technology for high-bandwidth data connectivity.
  • Work with system architects to design and develop system-on-chip (SoC) and field-programmable gate array (FPGA) solutions.
  • Implement and debug C/C++ code for systems software integration.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation and debug system design and component level failures.
  • Perform SERDES level debugging and related component issues.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field of study.
  • Two (2) years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or related occupation in post-silicon validation with shell and Python scripts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing reference designs of high-speed serial links and implementing eye diagram capturing capabilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in connecting with strategic partners to understand their needs and visions for next-generation automotive infotainment systems and advanced driver-assistance systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing prototypes involving serializer and deserializers for Display Port output on Electronic Control Units.
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing partners with the correct firmware for their customized hardware using high-speed circuit knowledge and firmware programming skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing Linux kernel driver and diagnostic software for high-speed SERDES interface.
