High Performance Computing Systems Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal High-Performance Computing (HPC) Administrator to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HPC administration in both Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to design, implement, and maintain high-performance computing systems
- Implement new technologies and best practices to enhance system performance and efficiency
- Resolve complex technical issues related to HPC hardware, software, and operating systems
- Perform system tuning and optimization to enhance performance on high-performance computing systems
- Ensure security compliance and collaborate with cybersecurity professionals to protect sensitive data
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 5 years of experience, or relevant equivalent experience
- Active U.S. government security clearance
- Experience with Windows and Linux Server Environments
- Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Knowledge of HPC scheduling and monitoring tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in HPC in a Linux environment
- Project leadership or management experience
- Familiarity with advanced scripting
- UNIX and Windows security hardening experience
- Knowledge of HPC monitoring tools
