About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled High Performance Computing Specialist to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Digital Technology group, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for our High Performance Computing (HPC) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to develop and implement new technologies and solutions based on industry best practices.
  • Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex technical issues related to HPC hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Work closely with our cybersecurity team to ensure the security and compliance of our HPC systems.
  • Provide documentation and training to junior team members on advanced HPC processes and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in HPC technology and apply this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in HPC systems administration, with a focus on Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience with directory services management, system hardening, and security compliance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with High Performance Computing scheduling and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with project leadership, management, or project management.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
