Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and administration for HPC systems, including Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
- Develop and implement new technologies based on industry best practices.
- Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems at a high scope and complexity.
- Lead and support the engineering community in the integration of HPC hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Perform OS tuning to maximize system performance on HPC systems.
- Work across DT functions to standardize processes and procedures.
- Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements.
- Provide documentation and training on advanced DT HPC processes and procedures.
- Be a mentor to junior team members.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience in Windows and/or Linux Server Environments, including directory services management and system hardening.
- Experience maintaining a medium-sized Microsoft Windows Server environment.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience with High Performance Computing scheduling and monitoring tools.
- High Performance Computing experience in a Linux environment.
- Experience maintaining a medium-sized Microsoft Windows Server environment.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience with High Performance Computing scheduling and monitoring tools.
- Experience in Project Leadership, Management, or Project management in a DT domain.
- Basic to advanced scripting experience.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Windows and Unix security hardening, systems integrations, advanced troubleshooting, and authentication service integration (LDAP).
- Unix (including Linux and Solaris) experience in a medium to high complex environment.
- Working knowledge of High-Performance Computing scheduling and monitoring tools such as SLURM, Grid Engine, and Ganglia.
