Job Summary

This position is designed to focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences through elevated service standards. The Assistant General Manager will oversee the entire store showroom and reception team, ensuring seamless daily operations and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in developing and implementing strategies to drive sales results and service standards.
  • Oversee department scheduling to meet business needs and optimize team performance.
  • Maintain a customer-centric environment by leading and coaching teams to company service standards.
  • Ensure daily store operations meet regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Partner with the General Manager to provide coaching, training, and development to the showroom team.
  • Monitor customer interactions and ensure proper communication protocols are followed.
  • Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor queues and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Maintain good working relationships with other store operating areas.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an associate degree preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have prior cash handling experience.
  • Management experience in retail and/or customer service is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff.
  • Highly motivated, confident, and high-energy individual with flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities.
  • Strong attention to detail, time-management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to train, develop, and evaluate a patient consultant team.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
  • Computer literacy and ability to work with various software systems.
  • Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background record check and drug screening.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to see and hear or use prosthetics to function adequately.
  • Ability to function independently and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
  • Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people.
  • Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.

Work Schedule

45+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
