Key Responsibilities:
As the Accounting Manager, your primary duties will include:

  • Managing the overall accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure timely completion of financial tasks.
  • Overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconciling various accounts, including bank statements and vendor accounts.
  • Addressing and resolving accounting discrepancies promptly.
  • Working with auditors to ensure adherence to all financial regulations.
  • Establishing and maintaining robust financial controls and procedures.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Preferred certifications include CPA or CMA.
  • Experience in the construction industry is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • The capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing a team.
