We are seeking a Commercial Account Manager to enhance our Sales team at Procore Technologies. In this position, you will act as the primary liaison for our existing strategic mid-sized accounts, utilizing your expertise in Procore's offerings to optimize renewals and growth opportunities. You will work closely with Customer Success, Sales colleagues, and Product Solution Specialists to sustain and elevate our customer revenue stream.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the principal contact for your designated territory, nurturing and advancing customer relationships while emphasizing the value of Procore's product suite.
- Collaborate across departments with Inside Sales Representatives, Product Solution Specialists, and Customer Success Engineers to promote product adoption, ensure customer retention, and drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Conduct thorough research on accounts, identify key stakeholders, generate interest, and gather business requirements.
- Maintain precise and current sales forecasts; provide management with detailed reports on sales activities and projects as needed.
- Stay informed about key competitors to effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
- Manage and keep accurate records of leads, opportunities, and account details.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate internal resources to address client issues and fulfill service agreements.
- Engage in periodic travel for client meetings.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven success in software sales, particularly in a B2B environment.
- Familiarity with a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach is desirable.
- Demonstrated success in an inside sales model.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Experience in post-sale revenue growth is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.
- Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems is a plus.
- Proven capability to develop and manage sales pipelines and forecasts.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base pay range for this role is $53.83, plus commission, with estimated on-target earnings between $135,720 and $186,615. This position is also eligible for equity compensation. Procore is dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation, with actual pay determined by a candidate's relevant skills, experience, education, and location.
