Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Reno, NV. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing Residential sales in the Reno, NV area territory. You will coordinate with and contribute to the overall branch and company efforts to profitably grow our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive demand and grow sales of all Simpson product lines in the defined marketplace.
  • Coach, train and manage the professional development of the Dealer Sales Representative.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with customers, as well as managing supply chain relationships with channel partners.
  • Promote Simpson Strong-Tie as an industry partner and potential employer.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience and/or training.
  • 2-3 years of management experience.
  • Technical skills: ability to gain product knowledge and work with Specialists to provide support as needed.

  • Driving Record: a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
Work Environment

This job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.

Travel

This position requires domestic and international travel up to 25% of the time.

Work Status & Location

This full-time, exempt position is located in the Reno, NV area.

Relocation

Relocation is not available for this position.

Pay

$121,000 per year.
