We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, managing deliveries, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Manage deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service to customers.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients.
  • Develop new business opportunities by leveraging market intelligence databases, business directories, and existing customer relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales to provide value-added services to customers.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills.
  • Team-oriented mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products – Experience using Customer Relationship Management tools preferred (i.e., Salesforce).
Physical Qualifications

The job requires frequent standing, walking, driving, and sitting. The worker must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
