Job Title: Substance Use Disorder Professional II or III

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Use Disorder Professional II or III to join our Behavioral Health Program in Tacoma at our 11th St location.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic professional to provide direct counseling services to adults suffering from chemical dependency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the disease concept of chemical dependency and a commitment to helping patients achieve recovery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and group counseling services to patients
  • Perform assessments, evaluations, and intakes
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records
Requirements:
  • Must possess a Substance Use Disorder Professional license from the Department of Health
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree
  • Must have up to three years' experience in the field
  • Must have and maintain First Aid and HIV certification
  • Must have and maintain current CPR certification
