Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Supervisor to join our team at Westlake Chemical Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the prompt completion of scheduled maintenance work orders and returning functional equipment back to operations with quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize the efficiency of maintenance operations to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of skilled trades personnel, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing technicians.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failure.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with production schedules.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance metrics, including time-to-complete, first-time fix rates, and equipment reliability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven track record of supervising and coordinating maintenance teams.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and conveyor systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
