Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Product Development Professional to join our team at Hirose Electric USA, Inc. as a Business Development Manager. This role will be responsible for driving new business development and managing sales activities within assigned territories to increase sales and implement strategic corporate directives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales goals and increase revenue in assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and engineering, to develop and launch new products and services that meet customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the electronic component industry.
  • Develop and present sales reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and partners.
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales data, including sales forecasts, pipeline management, and customer relationship management.
  • Travel to customer sites, tradeshows, and company events to build relationships, identify new business opportunities, and promote Hirose Electric USA, Inc.'s products and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the electronic component industry.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, including meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Working Conditions

The work environment is typically a fast-paced office setting with occasional travel to customer sites, tradeshows, and company events. The employee is expected to adhere to normal business hours and report to duty at the Hirose Electric USA, Inc. assigned office.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee will occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions while traveling.
