H&N Wind and Electric, a division of Timken Motor & Crane Services, is currently seeking a **Wind Technician**. This role involves troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues, as well as performing preventative maintenance on wind turbines. This position reports to the Field Service Supervisor.

**Key Responsibilities** Conduct scheduled maintenance and general servicing on wind turbines Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems Perform diagnostic electrical assessments Support all aspects of site operations Accurately submit daily time and travel expenses Undertake other skilled and unskilled tasks as assigned
**Minimum Qualifications** High school diploma or GED equivalent required A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on mechanical experience required; five (5) years preferred Three (3) years of experience as a wind technician preferred Willingness and ability to travel extensively Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required; CDL preferred Must pass a DOT medical examination Ability to comprehend, execute, and retain various skill-related training on operational and safety protocols Capability to climb ladders independently and work on towers up to 350 feet high Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures for extended periods Frequently handle, move, and/or lift repetitive weights up to 50 lbs Self-motivated with a strong focus on quality of work and exceptional customer service
The compensation for this role is **$32.00 per hour**, commensurate with experience and education, and may vary from the posted range. Opportunities for advancement are available upon skill development and mastery. Benefits commence on your first day, including cost-sharing options for Medical, Dental, and Vision. The company provides STD, LTD, and Basic Life Insurance with options for supplemental coverage. Participation in 401(k) and/or Roth 401(k) with company match after one (1) month of employment, plus quarterly Core Defined Contributions. Enjoy ten paid holidays per year along with three weeks of Paid Time Off annually (pro-rated during the first year); accrual rates increase with years of service.
