H&N Wind and Electric, a division of Timken Motor & Crane Services, is currently looking for a **Wind Technician** to join our team. This position is essential for diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues while conducting preventative maintenance on wind turbines. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, your contributions will be vital to our operations.

**Key Responsibilities** Conduct routine maintenance and general servicing of wind turbines Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions Perform diagnostic electrical assessments as needed Support various aspects of site operations Accurately submit daily time and travel expense reports Undertake additional skilled and unskilled tasks as assigned
**Minimum Qualifications** High school diploma or GED equivalent is required A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on mechanical experience is required; five (5) years is preferred Preferred experience of three (3) years as a wind technician Willingness and ability to travel extensively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; CDL is preferred Must be able to pass a DOT medical examination Ability to comprehend, execute, and retain various operational and safety training Capability to climb ladders unassisted and work at heights up to 350 feet Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures for extended periods Frequently handle, move, and lift weights up to 50 lbs Strong self-initiative with a commitment to quality work and exceptional customer service
The compensation for this role is **$32.00 per hour**, based on experience and education, with potential for higher pay. Opportunities for advancement are available through skill development and mastery. Benefits commence on your first day, including cost-sharing options for Medical, Dental, and Vision. Participation in 401(k) and/or Roth 401(k) plans with company matching after one month of employment, along with quarterly Core Defined Contributions.
