Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Coordinator to spearhead our growth initiatives within the Greater Rochester area. This role focuses on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the older adult population and retirement communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a business development plan in collaboration with the Director for the growth of the Companion Services.
  • Identify target clients, referral sources, and possible strategic corporate or not-for-profit partners.
  • Develop and communicate annual, quarterly and monthly marketing plans/schedules while working closely with internal marketing department resources to implement.
  • Perform phone screens, schedule and meet with potential clients and their families to assess their needs and determine client's schedules, and care plans.
  • Maintain a personal connection/relationship with clients and business partners to keep them apprised of services offered by Living Well Companion Care and Jewish Senior Life.
  • Report monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecast and targets.
  • Become knowledgeable in the use of Living Well's tracking and contact's dashboard/software.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales and marketing, preferably within the senior care or healthcare sector.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a passion for improving the lives of seniors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
