Position Overview:
VCA Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center is a hybrid facility that encompasses General Practice, Specialty, and Emergency/ICU care. We are dedicated to providing exceptional medical services for pets while ensuring a positive experience for pet owners.

Role Summary:
We are seeking an outstanding Hospital Director who will oversee the operational aspects of our extensive veterinary facility. This role involves maintaining a high-quality medical environment across various departments, including general practice, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the hospital's profit and loss statements.
2. Foster a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
3. Strive to exceed client expectations consistently.
4. Supervise Leaders/Supervisors and the Medical Director, supporting a team of approximately 50 staff members, including veterinarians, technicians, and support personnel.
5. Develop and mentor future leaders within the organization.
6. Oversee the onboarding, training, and continuity programs for staff.
7. Build and maintain relationships within the veterinary community.
8. Assist in the recruitment of medical professionals.

Qualifications:
- Experience in specialty or emergency veterinary management is advantageous.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of team development and engagement.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities, coupled with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Previous leadership experience in a specialty hospital or multi-site operational environment.
- Demonstrated success in building high-performing teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.
- A history of driving revenue growth while balancing immediate needs with long-term goals.

Working Conditions:
- Flexible scheduling and availability.
- Work environment includes interaction with pets.
- Occasional travel may be required.

Compensation:
Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000
