Role Summary:
We are seeking an outstanding Hospital Director to oversee the operational and business aspects of our extensive veterinary practice. This role is pivotal in maintaining a high-quality medical environment across various specialties, including general practice, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the hospital's profit and loss statements.
- Foster a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
- Strive to exceed client expectations consistently.
- Supervise Leaders/Supervisors and the Medical Director, overseeing a team of approximately 50 professionals, including veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
- Develop and mentor future leaders within the organization.
- Oversee onboarding, training, and continuity programs.
- Build and maintain relationships within the veterinary community.
- Assist in the recruitment of medical professionals.
Qualifications:
- Experience in specialty or emergency veterinary management is advantageous.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of engaging veterinary professionals.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities, complemented by critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Prior leadership experience in a specialty hospital or multi-site operational environment.
- Demonstrated success in building high-performing teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.
- History of driving revenue growth while balancing immediate needs with long-term goals.
Working Conditions:
- Flexible scheduling and availability.
- Work environment includes the presence of pets.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Compensation:
Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000
