Role Summary:
We are seeking an outstanding Hospital Director who will oversee the operational and business facets of our large veterinary hospital, which includes general practice, surgical services, internal medicine, oncology, and emergency care. This leadership role requires a focus on maintaining a high-quality medical environment and fostering a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the hospital's profit and loss statements.
- Promote a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
- Ensure client satisfaction and exceed expectations.
- Supervise Leaders/Supervisors and the Medical Director, supporting a team of approximately 50 professionals, including veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
- Develop and mentor future leaders within the organization.
- Oversee onboarding, training, and continuity programs.
- Build and maintain relationships within the veterinary community.
- Assist in the recruitment of medical professionals.
Qualifications:
- Experience in specialty or emergency veterinary management is advantageous.
- Strong leadership capabilities to cultivate a cohesive team and engage effectively with veterinary professionals.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, complemented by critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record in leading a specialty hospital or multi-site operational business.
- Experience in building high-performing teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth while balancing immediate needs with long-term objectives.
Working Conditions:
- Flexible schedule and availability.
- Work environment includes interaction with pets.
- Periodic travel may be required.
Compensation:
Salary range is $90,000 - $115,000.
