Job Summary

The Team Member is a key member of our restaurant team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the overall success of our business. This role involves working directly with guests and fellow team members to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer every guest a superb experience that creates a lasting memory, greeting them warmly and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Support and assist fellow team members whenever possible, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, adhering to our high standards for quality and sanitation.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and appearance of all products and ingredients, ensuring they meet our standards.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly, adhering to our procedures and protocols.
  • Restock work areas before leaving shift, ensuring a smooth transition for the next team member.
  • Adhere to Company uniform and grooming standards, representing our brand with pride.
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement, contributing to our continuous growth and development.
  • Report problems (faulty equipment, product shortages, etc.) to supervisor promptly, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing disruptions.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned by supervisor, supporting the overall success of our business.
Business Operations

As a Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes:

  • Ensuring specials, promotions, and marketing plans are presented according to company procedures during shift.
  • Ensuring that hours of operation for the restaurant are maintained during their shift.
  • Ensuring compliance with established safety and sanitation procedures and all Federal, State, and local regulations during shift.
Cashier/Service Responsibilities

As a Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the overall success of our business. This includes:

  • Always adhering to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Being a team player—supporting and assisting fellow team members whenever possible.
  • Maintaining cleanliness/sanitation standards.
  • Greeting Guests, taking food/beverage orders, expediting orders, assisting with dining room service.
  • Properly operating the POS system for taking all types of Guest orders.
  • Responsible for properly charging Guests and for collecting payment for orders; cash, credit or debit card transactions.
  • Answering phone properly with knowledge to assist Guest with questions/information and take phone orders.
  • Interacting with Guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Restocking drink station and expo area, maintaining restroom cleanliness, emptying trash cans and helping to keep dining room and other Guest areas clean.
  • Maintaining proper product temperatures per standards.
  • Maintaining portion-control for products per standards.
  • Cleaning equipment, as assigned, thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
  • Keeping floor in work or service area clean and free of debris.
  • Completing daily tasks timely and thoroughly in accordance with standards.
Line Prep/Kitchen Production Responsibilities

As a Team Member, you will be responsible for supporting the overall success of our business by preparing and serving high-quality food products. This includes:

  • Always adhering to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming.
  • Completing duties on opening and closing prep and checklists.
  • Referring to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
  • Preparing a variety of food products, including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, desserts, and other items for cooking/serving to Guest according to CSC recipe and product standards.
  • Understanding and complying consistently with CSC standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Preparing all Guest orders with strict adherence to CSC standards for quality, portioning, and appearance standards.
  • Preparing all Guest orders adhering to CSC SOS goals.
  • Preparing all food products in accordance with CSC portion sizes and recipe specifications.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation, including tables, shelves, walls, steamer, sandwich line, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Closing the line kitchen properly, following the closing checklist for line kitchen and assisting others in closing the kitchen.
  • Attending all scheduled employee meetings and bringing suggestions for improvement.
  • Promptly reporting equipment and food quality problems to Management.
  • Informing Management immediately of product shortages.
  • Using our Standard Recipe Cards for preparing all products, relying on our procedures and protocols rather than personal memory or other employees.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to clearly and professionally communicate with team members and guests.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality; reliability.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
Education and Experience

Prior experience in a restaurant or retail environment is a plus, but not required. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and grow with our company.
