Role Responsibilities

As a NICU RN, you will be entrusted with the care of our most vulnerable patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of neonates and infants, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
  • Monitoring and responding to changes in patient conditions, including emergency situations.
  • Providing essential support and education to families of patients.
  • Collaborating effectively with the healthcare team through clear communication.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Current licensure from the Virginia Board of Nursing or a compact license eligible for practice in Virginia.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
  • Current certifications in BLS and NRP.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a Level 3 NICU setting.
