About the Role

Cushing Terrell is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural systems for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions for projects, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and safety.
  • Prepare and review construction documents, including plans and specifications.
  • Perform structural engineering analysis and develop design calculations.
  • Prepare engineering studies and reports.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Mentor and direct junior engineers and BIM staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year university.
  • 6-10+ years of job-related experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain by comity) in the state of the hiring Cushing Terrell office.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
  • Advanced understanding of basic structural systems and design process.
  • High level of collaboration and communication.
  • Ability to effectively manage time.
