Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing, organizing, and coordinating comprehensive phases of studies, assessments, and the creation of contract documents for HVAC and plumbing systems, energy efficiency initiatives, sustainable design features, and other building components.
  • Overseeing budgets, timelines, and deliverables for healthcare-related projects.
  • Engaging in business development efforts to attract new and returning clients.
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 99, ASHRAE 170, and FGI Guidelines as they pertain to hospitals, surgical centers, and medical office buildings.
  • Proficient understanding of Medical Gas systems.
  • Experience with Revit/BIM and LEED certification is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel, possess a valid driver's license, and pursue ASHRAE Healthcare Facility Design Professional (HFDP) certification.
