They are in search of a dedicated Capital Project Engineer to spearhead their engineering project management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a capital project strategy that aligns with the organization’s objectives through effective planning and successful project delivery.
  • Provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle by collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders; create comprehensive descriptions of tasks and materials required for project completion.
  • Oversee all project dimensions, including the development and management of project controls, regular updates to stakeholders, supervision of multidisciplinary design teams, and contractor management.
  • Prepare and present budget estimates while maintaining ongoing communication with stakeholders regarding project status and financials.
  • Manage contract negotiations, amendments, and compliance by all involved parties.
  • Ensure that projects are executed and documented in accordance with contractual obligations and industry best practices.
  • Maintain and foster relationships with contractors, design firms, and consultants, including reviewing proposals, awarding contracts, and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience.
  • Proven ability to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects with varying scales, timelines, and complexities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations pertinent to the construction and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Strong conceptual planning skills.
