Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. is seeking a motivated early-career Program Manager to join our team.

The Program Manager will spearhead qualification initiatives for various loading conditions, including blast, wind, and seismic impacts on mechanical and electrical systems, as well as other non-structural elements. This role involves assisting clients in achieving compliance with the International Building Code (IBC) or other pertinent standards through rigorous analysis and testing, under the guidance of a licensed structural engineer. Additionally, the Manager may engage in engineering assessments and design across diverse sectors such as nuclear, healthcare, dams and waterways, defense, and protective/blast methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage certification programs, including conducting full-scale shake table tests of equipment (which may involve travel to testing facilities)
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs
  • Prepare detailed quotes and proposals for client projects
  • Generate comprehensive reports and documentation to ensure compliance with IBC seismic and wind standards
  • Analyze product information from manufacturers to identify variations
  • Delegate and coordinate project tasks among Certification Engineers
  • Organize and schedule laboratory testing activities
  • Oversee project budgets, expenses, and timelines
  • Assess non-standard structural components and equipment
  • Conduct structural analysis for wind and seismic loads on equipment and nonstructural systems
  • Design anchorage solutions for nonstructural elements
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
  • Proven experience in utilizing hand calculations and/or structural analysis software to evaluate structural system demands and capacities
  • Self-driven with a strong desire to learn
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Licensed professional engineer in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in software such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, SAP2000, LS-DYNA, Matlab, Mathcad, AutoCAD/Revit, Solidworks, or similar
  • Computer programming skills for database management, signal processing, or automation tasks
  • Knowledge of seismic analysis, code-compliant steel and concrete design, blast analysis, and nonlinear structural evaluation
