Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic professional in the food service sector seeking a new leadership role? This position as a Shift Leader at our quick service restaurant could be the perfect fit for you. In this role, you will oversee employee scheduling, delegate tasks, address customer concerns, and ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.

Collaboration with your team is essential to guarantee that our customers receive their orders promptly. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a fast food or quick service environment, along with strong organizational and supervisory skills.

Compensation:

$16 - $18 hourly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staffing duties, including monitoring, scheduling shifts, and training staff to enhance performance and compliance.
  • Address customer complaints efficiently and courteously.
  • Fill in for crew members who are unable to work their shifts.
  • Instruct staff on safety protocols, customer service excellence, and cleanliness standards.
  • Assign tasks to various departments and individual team members, ensuring timely and successful completion to facilitate quick service.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervising and coordinating team members during shifts.
  • Ensuring food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Training and mentoring team members to improve overall performance.
  • Assisting in inventory management and placing orders as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role or managing staff is required.
  • Experience in the food service industry is essential.
  • A high school diploma or GED is necessary.
  • Previous management experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Must possess strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
