Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Sanitize Equipment and Utensils: Operate all ware-washing machinery to ensure that all food service and preparation ware is clean and sanitized.
  • Prepare and Present Food and Beverages: Assist in plating for banquet functions and storing food requisitions.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Keep ware-washing area clean and safe, and report any problems with machinery to supervisor.
  • Provide Excellent Guest Service: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work Effectively as Part of a Team: Assist in other areas as needed, such as setup, silver burnishing, floor porter, and food running.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required for guest and staff interactions.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Food Handler's Card may be required.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical activity. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time is required.
