Job Summary

OakBend Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to lead our clinical team and provide exceptional patient care. As a Nurse Director, you will be responsible for directing and supervising licensed staff and non-professional nursing personnel to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the medical staff
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on new policies, procedures, and technologies

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work rotational shifts, including holidays and weekends
