Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dentist to join our team at Brighter Beginnings. As a key member of our dental clinic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supervising clinical staff, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide day-to-day supervision of clinical staff, including dental assistants and hygienists, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Patient Care: Provide a full range of general dental services, including routine check-ups, fillings, and extractions, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist with the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality improvement programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and train clinical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and contribute to the development of a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
  • Licensure: Current licensure to practice dentistry in the state of California.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong background in leadership and supervision.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This position requires moderate physical activity, including standing and walking for most of the day, and working with blood or blood-borne pathogens. The work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions.
