Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide day-to-day supervision of clinical staff, including dental assistants and hygienists, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Patient Care: Provide a full range of general dental services, including routine check-ups, fillings, and extractions, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Assist with the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality improvement programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Staff Development: Mentor and train clinical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and contribute to the development of a positive and productive work environment.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Education: DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Licensure: Current licensure to practice dentistry in the state of California.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong background in leadership and supervision.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires moderate physical activity, including standing and walking for most of the day, and working with blood or blood-borne pathogens. The work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions.
