Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Parham Doctors' Hospital. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide direct nursing care and leadership to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Work closely with the clinical team to create and implement a care plan that meets each patient's needs.
  • Coordinate unit activities and ensure accountability of all assigned tasks.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members in the absence of hospital and other administrative staff.
  • Assure fiscal responsibility by ensuring appropriate departmental staffing utilization.
  • Ensure that all staff demonstrate appropriate professional behaviors.
  • Coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years current nursing experience with a minimum of two (2) years demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Prior experience as a Hospital Nursing Supervisor is preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
