The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining A/V equipment, performing tests to ensure equipment meets standards, and participating in the installation of AV equipment and displays.

Responsibilities:

* Operate A/V and related equipment, including sound equipment, projection equipment, lighting equipment, microphones, metering and test equipment
* Maintain all A/V equipment, perform tests to ensure equipment meets standards, and participate in the installation of AV equipment and displays
* Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning and assessing needed repairs
* Identify need and make recommendations for new equipment
* Maintain records, reports, and inventory
* Set up and remove A/V equipment for CSRAB special events and external customer special events
* Communicate with supervisor and other CSRAB staff, internal and external clients, vendors, and the public as directed/required to maintain a high level of customer service at the Ohio Statehouse

Requirements:

* 5 years of experience in planning, directing, developing, and/or producing audio/visual integration projects and events
* Completion of a certification program, such as CTS, Dante, QSC Qsys, AV programming, or Creston – Treston
* Equivalent of minimum qualifications for employment

Work Environment:

* Work schedule based on CSRAB events and Special Events Schedule
* Weekends required
* Bending, lifting, stooping, and crawling under and around equipment will be necessary for this job
