About the Job

The Vice President of Business Development, USA is responsible for driving strategic growth and market expansion across the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth and market penetration in B2B segments within a quarter.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and brand visibility.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences, using these insights to develop sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, sales forecasts, and progress reports to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Provide training and guidance to the sales team to ensure product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies and promotional materials to support sales initiatives and establish the company as a leader in the US nutraceutical market.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote brand awareness.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals with key clients and partners, ensuring profitable agreements and long-term relationships.
  • Utilize digital sales channels and e-commerce platforms to expand reach and optimize sales processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field such as B.Pharm, BS - Biotechnology, or BS - Food Science.
  • MBA preferred.
  • ~12+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the nutraceutical, supplements, food ingredients, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • ~ Strong understanding of nutraceutical products, US market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
  • ~ Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and e-commerce platforms.
  • ~ Experience collaborating with international teams.
