Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based, time-efficient psychotherapy services to adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct confidential psychological assessments in an ambulatory psychiatric care setting with a diverse patient population.
- Develop and implement evidence-based, time-efficient treatment plans for patients in an ambulatory psychiatric care setting.
- Document psychological assessments, treatment interventions, and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory and insurance requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide case consultation and support individual patients.
- Provide clinical supervision to student therapists in training, cultivating the next generation of psychotherapists.
- Prepare and present didactic material to colleagues and students on various theoretical orientations and interventions.
- Manage emotionally challenging information on a daily basis and provide resilient self-support to colleagues.
- Participate in quality improvement meetings, presenting and discussing collaborative case conferences.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor with an active license to practice psychotherapy in Pennsylvania, necessary continuing education credits to maintain licensure, and credentials to practice psychotherapy.
- State of PA background clearance (PATCH report).
- If applicable, fingerprinting & FBI clearance if residing outside of Pennsylvania, or if residency in PA is less than two years.
- Successful completion of the PEAC payer enrollment process by the UPHS Office of Medical Affairs.
- NJ license (preferred).
- Master's Degree Required. Either Master's in Social Work or Master's in Counseling with a minimum of 3000 hours of post-graduate individual psychotherapy experience.
