Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Schneider equipment at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers, resolving issues and answering questions related to Schneider equipment.
  • Training and Development: Train customer employees on the operation and maintenance of Schneider equipment, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively use our products.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is completed to Schneider's quality standards, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between customers and Schneider, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to resolve issues and meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree in applied technology or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service capacity or as a plant maintenance technician.
  • Technical Skills: Strong electrical, mechanical, and programming background, including robotics and PLC ladder logic. Familiarity with MS Office applications and ability to learn new software and technologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a strong sense of personal accountability.
Work Environment

As a Field Service Technician, you will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, often traveling to customer locations to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
