About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive II to join our team at Bio-Rad Laboratories. As a key member of our Global Commercial Operations Sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers in the SF South Bay area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute a Territory Sales Plan: Create and implement a sales strategy to achieve territory sales goals, focusing on the promotion and sale of Bio-Rad's genomics and proteomics instrumentation and consumables.
  • Promote and Sell Bio-Rad's Portfolio: Utilize your expertise to promote and sell Bio-Rad's portfolio of products, including Droplet Digital PCR, Real-Time PCR, Imaging, Chromatography, and Bio-Plex Multiplex Immunoassay Systems, to achieve territory sales goals.
  • Build and Manage Sales Opportunity Funnel: Develop and manage a sales opportunity funnel to identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Partner with Regional Teammates: Collaborate with regional teammates to ensure achievement of territory sales goals and share best practices.
  • Communicate with Regional Manager: Regularly communicate with the regional manager on activities, market trends, opportunities, and forecast.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as life sciences, business, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: 3-5 years of sales experience, with a strong focus on selling genomics and/or proteomic capital equipment.
  • Equivalent Lab Experience: Equivalent lab experience utilizing the aforementioned instrumentation is suitable.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to customers and stakeholders.
  • Highly Motivated with a Demonstrated Record of Success: Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong motivation to drive sales growth and achieve territory sales goals.
  • Strong Knowledge of Genomics and/or Proteomics Research Space: In-depth knowledge of the genomics and/or proteomics research space, including the latest trends and technologies.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Developed Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
