Job Title: Master's Level Behavioral Health Professional

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Master's Level Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at Lucas County Correction Center in Toledo, Ohio.

Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Professional will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive and collaborative care to patients in a correctional environment. This role requires a licensed, master's level behavioral health clinician who can administer assessments, make clinical decisions, and provide mental health treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and ongoing evaluations, and provide consultation to in-house and community services.
  • Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and work collaboratively with the medical team to determine overall treatment for each individual.
  • Perform risk assessments of inmates, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, and develop discharge plans.
  • Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives.
  • Prepare documentation, records, and reports as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a Master's level program in a behavioral health related field.
  • Minimum of one year employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
  • Must receive a satisfactory background investigation report.
