Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Professional will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive and compassionate care to patients in a correctional environment. This role requires a licensed, master's level clinician who can administer assessments, make clinical decisions, and provide mental health treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and ongoing evaluations, and provide consultation to in-house and community services.
  • Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and work collaboratively with the medical team to determine overall treatment for each individual.
  • Perform risk assessments of inmates, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, and develop discharge plans.
  • Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives.
  • Prepare documentation, records, and reports as necessary.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field.
  • Minimum of one year of employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory background investigation report.
