We are seeking a highly skilled Master's Level Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at VitalCore Health Strategies in Ohio. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to individuals in a correctional setting.

About the Role

The Behavioral Health Professional will work collaboratively with our team to provide proactive and collaborative approaches in serving the patient population. This includes administering assessments, making clinical decisions, providing mental health treatment, and holding a valid license such as CMHC, LCPC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, ACMHC, ALMFT, CSW, or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and ongoing evaluations, and provide consultation to in-house and community services.
  • Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and work collaboratively with the medical team to determine overall treatment for each individual.
  • Perform risk assessments of inmates, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, and discharge planning.
  • Assist in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects.
  • Prepare necessary documentation, records, and reports.
  • Utilize clinical skills such as prioritizing treatment needs, crisis management, brief clinical interventions, including CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Master's level program in a behavioral health-related field.
  • Minimum of one year employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
  • Must receive a satisfactory background investigation report.
