Behavioral Health Professional Opportunity

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at the Lucas County Correction Center in Toledo, Ohio.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive wage, annual incentive payment, and an excellent benefits package. As a Behavioral Health Professional, you will have the opportunity to utilize your training, skills, and experience in a face-to-face setting with individuals from diverse socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with medical staff, community providers, psychiatric hospitals, and corrections to provide comprehensive care to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing crisis stabilization and completing intakes and ongoing evaluations
  • Participating in monthly behavioral health calls and working collaboratively with the medical team to determine overall treatment for each individual
  • Performing risk assessments of inmates and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team
  • Assisting in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects
  • Preparing documentation, records, and reports as necessary

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's level degree in a behavioral health-related field, a minimum of one year of employment in a social work capacity, and a satisfactory background investigation report.
