Position Overview:

We are looking for experienced Structural, Mechanical, and Plumbing Building Code Inspectors. The responsibilities include performing inspections and reviewing plans for both residential and commercial structures, overseeing related projects, and occasional travel. This role is predominantly field-oriented with some office responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes:

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A valid Florida commercial building inspection license (BN#) in structural, mechanical, or plumbing. Additional licenses in electrical or residential are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in plan review and/or inspections.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Building Code Inspector, your daily tasks will include:
  • Conducting inspections and reviewing plans for residential and commercial properties.
  • Preparing comprehensive written and electronic reports; issuing correction notices as necessary.
  • Explaining and interpreting code regulations and quality control standards to clients and the public.
  • Identifying, assessing, and resolving unique issues effectively.
  • Maintaining strong customer service relationships and assisting with business development as required.
