In this role, you will collaborate with our seasoned safety professionals to maintain a secure environment for our workforce, subcontractors, and the general public. You will be trained on our safety regulations and gain practical experience in applying these protocols on-site.

Position Title: Regional Safety Inspector Trainee

Reporting To: Safety Director

Classification: Non-Exempt

Role Summary:

The Regional Safety Inspector is responsible for ensuring adequate training, organizing safety events, maintaining records, and overseeing prevention of losses and illnesses while adhering to the safety standards established by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment
  • Engage in Training and Certification Programs
  • Document Training and Safety Equipment Orders
  • Support Project Compliance with Safety Regulations

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • 3-5 years of experience in roofing preferred.
  • Experience in roofing safety compliance is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Bilingual with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Capable of conducting Safety Inspections, implementing Disciplinary Actions, and Training new employees on safety protocols.
  • OSHA 30-hour Card or willingness to obtain certification within 60 days of employment.
  • Willingness to travel overnight and assist other divisions as needed.
  • Able to support management in the care of injured workers.
  • Ability to collaborate with departments such as HR and Production.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays if required.
