Position Overview:
We are looking for experienced Structural, Mechanical, and Plumbing Building Code Compliance Inspectors. The role involves performing inspections and reviewing plans for both residential and commercial properties, overseeing related projects, and may require occasional travel. This position is primarily field-based with some office responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid Florida commercial building inspection license (BN#) in structural, mechanical, or plumbing. Additional licenses in electrical or residential fields are advantageous.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in plan review and/or inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Building Code Compliance Inspector, your daily tasks will include:
- Conducting inspections and reviewing plans for compliance with building codes for residential and commercial properties.
- Preparing detailed reports in both written and electronic formats; issuing correction notices as necessary.
- Explaining and interpreting code regulations and quality control standards to clients and the public.
- Identifying, assessing, and resolving unique issues effectively.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and assisting in business development as needed.
