Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Interpath Laboratory, Inc. in Boise, ID. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of clinical laboratory operations, including patient reception, specimen collection, specimen processing, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and team members
  • Retrieve and process blood samples and other specimens for laboratory testing
  • Perform screening procedures and verify specimen information
  • Accurately manage data and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Handle and process specimens for referral labs while ensuring specimen integrity
  • Comply with safety protocols, HIPAA policies, and quality assurance standards
  • Cover work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on phlebotomy experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
