The Laboratory Apprentice position at St. Luke's Health System is a trainee role that provides support to clinical laboratories under the supervision of experienced professionals. The successful candidate will assist in routine tests, perform limited testing, and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection and processing of various specimens, ensuring proper identification, labeling, and storage.
- Perform daily quality control maintenance and instrument checks to ensure accurate test results.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Support laboratory staff in performing routine tests and procedures.
- Contribute to a safe and clean working environment by adhering to laboratory protocols and procedures.
