Your Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Sales Representative to collaborate with our field service management team, understanding customer needs and identifying new business opportunities. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will craft and execute effective strategies to penetrate markets and enhance our established customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain strategic relationships with customers by actively engaging with both existing clients and potential prospects to meet sales and business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our service footprint and ensuring a robust pipeline with a high closing rate.
  • Establish professional credibility within the industry, positioning yourself as a strategic partner dedicated to enhancing the customer experience.
  • Network across various sectors to develop a strong pipeline that aligns with TSS sales goals.
  • Present TSS’s service offerings effectively to all levels within client organizations.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and conferences to promote our services.
  • Act as a mentor to clients, guiding them through growth opportunities by promoting new services.
  • Drive growth through cross-selling and upselling strategies by collaborating with different business units.
  • Work closely with fellow Field Sales Representatives, Inside Sales, and service delivery managers to ensure customer satisfaction and service alignment.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our service offerings to adapt recommendations to meet customer needs.
  • Conduct structured business reviews with management to ensure alignment on customer strategies and refine our value proposition.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $75,000 - $120,000, with an OTE of $107,142 - $178,571, based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Environmental Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • A master's degree is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role, managing a portfolio independently.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems for tracking productivity and opportunities.
  • A combination of education, training, and relevant experience may fulfill requirements.

Skills and Attributes

  • In-depth knowledge of laboratory and healthcare compliance services and related markets.
  • Proven track record in selling service contracts and related offerings.
  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills, with a strong problem-solving orientation.
  • High interpersonal skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt swiftly to changing environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel 50% - 70% of the time for client visits.
