Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Access Coordinator to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As a key member of our Access Center, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless patient experience throughout our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule medical provider appointments for patients within primary care and specialty offices, taking into account clinical protocols, availability, and payor source.
  • Liaison and Communication: Act as a liaison between patients and physician offices, providing clear and concise information to ensure a smooth patient experience.
  • Appointment Management: Manage appointment requests from phone calls and electronic requests, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physician offices to support the management of designated work-queues and provide quality patient care.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and internal stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: One year of customer service experience, with a focus on external and internal customers.
  • Language Skills: Bi-lingual in Spanish and English speaking is preferred.
  • Medical Office Experience: One year of experience in a medical office setting is desired.
