Job Description

Job Summary:

Dandelion Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Product Development and Marketing to lead our product marketing efforts and drive business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that position our innovative geothermal heat pump products as the premier choice for cost-effective, energy-efficient heating and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Segment-Specific Marketing Approaches: Work closely with sales and executive leadership to create marketing strategies tailored to our different customer segments, including builders and installers, and drive the development and execution of marketing campaigns to boost customer adoption.
  • Collateral Development: Craft sales messaging that best communicates Dandelion's value propositions to our various stakeholders, prepare and refine engaging pitch decks for our sales team, and develop high-quality website content, including blog posts and case studies.
  • Manage the Company's Digital Presence: Oversee the company's website, ensuring it is optimized for search engine visibility and search engine marketing, and manage our social media channels to enhance online presence.
  • Market Analysis: Compile a comprehensive list of target customers based on market research and segmentation analysis, maintain thorough competitive intelligence, and stay informed about industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a product marketing role, preferably in a B2B company with large, national, enterprise sales teams.
  • Experience working in a startup environment and a strong understanding of the geothermal heat pump industry.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think from first principles and solve new problems.

  • A competitive salary range of $160,000-$175,000.
