About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at McDonald's Corporation. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading shifts, managing assigned departments, and ensuring that customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead shifts and manage assigned departments, including Guest Service, Kitchen, and People departments.
  • Manage systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
  • Set goals, delegate tasks, and follow up on results.
  • Report results back to the team and other managers.
  • Ensure that all service staff are trained in service procedures.
  • Organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
  • Manage food quality, safety, and cost control in the kitchen.
  • Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
  • Manage crew hiring, training, and scheduling to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
  • Ensure that crew get off to a good start and are recognized and motivated throughout their time working at the restaurant.
Requirements
  • Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Positive team player with flexible schedules who likes to have fun.
  • Passion to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the success of the restaurant.
