Receiving Department Manager

The Receiving Manager is responsible for overseeing the receiving department, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of incoming shipments. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming shipments
• Supervise and train receiving staff to maintain high standards of quality and productivity
• Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to optimize receiving operations
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures
• Analyze and resolve receiving-related issues and discrepancies
Requirements:
• 1 year of experience in a receiving or logistics role
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:
The Receiving Manager will work in a warehouse environment with frequent exposure to industrial vehicles and equipment. The pace of work is job-set, with varying levels of activity depending on receiving operations.
Physical Requirements:
The Receiving Manager will be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending and stooping. The role also requires standing and walking for extended periods.
