As a Parts Coordinator, your role will encompass managing PSI operations for Kyocera Document Solutions America and its affiliated sales companies across various regions. You will facilitate supply chain processes with international manufacturing plants and collaborate closely with our parent company in Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

PSI Operations:

  • Execute emergency orders for backordered components following daily assessments.
  • Oversee inventory management and backorder statuses, understanding parts trends and characteristics.
  • Develop and communicate sales forecasts to the parent company.
  • Manage PSI and monthly orders for sales companies in designated regions.
  • Analyze purchasing needs for discontinued and new model items.
  • Maintain open purchase orders to ensure timely shipments and accuracy.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Track import shipments from overseas manufacturing facilities.
  • Coordinate estimated arrival times for backordered items and those with increased demand.
  • Evaluate lead times for ocean transportation related to PSI.
  • Facilitate returns and shipments for technical issues to international plants.
  • Undertake other related duties as directed by management.

Sales Operations Process:

  • Process monthly warranty credit claims from Japan for the organization and its sales companies.
  • Support internal requests from various departments and sales companies.
  • Provide assistance with pricing setups, report generation, and data analysis.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by management.

Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate closely with the parent company.
  • Engage daily with internal departments such as Technical, Logistics, Customer Service, IT, and sales companies.
  • Maintain regular communication with vendors, forwarders, and brokers.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years in supply chain or inventory management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of inventory control principles, including forecasting and order fulfillment.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, capable of complex data analysis and spreadsheet management.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle.
  • Strong analytical abilities to gather and interpret data, develop hypotheses, and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Ability to work independently and interact with all management levels.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with VBA.
  • Experience with supply chain management systems like SAP, JDA, or Oracle.
  • Background in project management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English.
