Advanced Systems Evaluation Engineer

LinQuest is in search of an Advanced Systems Evaluation Engineer to enhance our team. This role is essential in the development and assessment of innovative space communication systems tailored for military applications. As part of our Systems Engineering team, you will engage in defining the future of satellite communication systems, specifically supporting Air Force Military Satellite Communications.
This position requires collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment, where you will work closely with team members, contractors, and government personnel. Your responsibilities will include leading technical discussions, identifying risks, addressing requirement gaps, and facilitating effective communication through briefings and meeting documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate Test and Evaluation strategies, including the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and verification methodologies.
- Assist in the creation and updates of the Systems Integration and Test Plan (SITP) and Systems Engineering Plan (SEP).
- Gather, analyze, and report Test and Evaluation data, providing insightful assessments and recommendations.
- Support the establishment of a unified Test and Evaluation database, integrating Digital Engineering processes.
- Participate in T&E reviews, audits, and collaborative meetings to refine integration strategies.
- Assess Test and Integration deliverables, collaborating with Integrated Product Teams to enhance implementation.
- Prepare and present comprehensive packages to communicate strategies and assessments to stakeholders.
- Identify and document risks along with mitigation strategies, utilizing Digital Engineering tools for various initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science. Equivalent degrees or relevant experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering.
- Extensive experience in system specification, verification, or analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Eligibility to work in the US and ability to obtain a Secret clearance is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
- Experience with Military Satellite Communications systems.
- Familiarity with military or DoD civilian operations.
- Knowledge of ground and airborne systems.
- Certifications in Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
- Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence tools.
